I really enjoyed this place. My friend had the vrsb cakes and I had the salmon with squash and a salad. It was delicious. The squash was amazing. We wrapped up with the keylime pie with was very good. It is a little pricey but I would highly recommend this place.
Dimly lighting and busy as usual on the weekends. After waiting for a hour to be seated we quickly helped by our waitress. Unfortunately the roasted chicken we wanted was sold out so she recommended several other things for us to try. I opted for the chicken tenders with fries and coleslaw. I was surprised of how good the chicken tenders were. So crispy and perfectly seasoned. The barbecue and honey mustard sauce was very flavorful.
This place is amazing and always full on the weekends. The food is wonderful and I like the specialty menu because there's always something fun to try. The carrot cake is probably two million calories but ridiculously good. We enjoyed the salads as well. For what the restaurant is the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend!
I'm not a huge fan of the entrees here but service is always on point, apps are delicious (big fan of grilled artichokes and spinach queso) and their cocktails are a great deal. You can get a martini, which comes with a second martini, so essentially 2 for the price of 1. The star of this restaurant is their carrot cake. I've never had any carrot cake comparable. Always get a piece from here!!
I chose this restaurant based on the reviews for our family dinner after the visitation for my mother-in-law's funeral service. It was late, but the wait staff was very attentive, the ambiance was perfect for the occasion and the food was fabulous. Excellent wine selection, too.
I had a great dining experience at J. Alexander's. The food and service were both excellent. The Cajun Ribeye was well-prepared, and the baked potato was nicely done. The crab dip was excellent, though the bread dippers were slightly overdone. The prime rib was flavorful, and the chicken strips and fries were good as well. Seating is comfortable and the bar area is larger than many places. Overall, it's one of the better options at Summerset Mall.
